We're excited to hold the Budget Advocacy Community Forum to hear the community's points of concern as we head into the fiscal year. In this Forum, we will teach you how to advocate for your needs to elected officials, do a deep dive on the fiscal year timeline, and be informed on current budget allocations.

Voices for Clemency: Community Letter Writing
Join us for a Letter Writing session to uplift individuals seeking commutations and second chances. We’ll be writing letters of support for our community members highlighting growth, accountability, and the power of redemption.
Time is of the essence! As Governor Newsom prepares to leave office, we need to submit our letters ASAP. This is a critical window to act! Our words matter, and they can help open doors to freedom.
We will be providing refreshments, templates, and guidance - no prior letter writing experience needed!

The city of Riverside recently voted to reject $20m in state funding for permanent housing for unhoused community members. This decision - made during a severe housing crisis - is unacceptable. We’re calling for a community Town Hall to discuss the city council vote, our community’s housing needs, housing solutions, and ways to take action. Join us to share your concerns, ask questions, and strategize future actions with your neighbors.
