If a family member or friend is detained and does not have a lawyer this person or a family member can call The Legal Aid Society Immigration Hotline at 844-955-3425.
If someone is detained and you do not know where they are you can call ICE at 212.264.5085 or search online at www.ice.gov/locator
Know Your Rights!
You have the constitutional right to remain silent and to not answer any questions you don’t want to.
You don’t have to sign anything you don’t understand or don’t want to.
You have the right to speak with an attorney.
You are not normally required to open the door for anyone. Immigration and the police can’t come inside unless they have a warrant signed by a judge.

Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice: The ICIJ is composed of over 35 organizations that serve the immigrant community in the Inland Empire. The coalition engages in policy advocacy, community organizing and education, and rapid response to ICE and border patrol operations.

Inland Empire Immigrant Youth Collective
The IEIYC creates a safe space for immigrant youth to express themselves and achieve their full potential and their identity that intersects with being undocumented. Through grassroots organizing, our mission is to engage youth to gain equal access to higher education and professional development and to seek justice for the immigrant community by empowering those most impacted by unjust policies.
TODEC’s mission is to empower disenfranchised immigrant communities to become economically, socially, educationally, and civically self-sufficient while enhancing individual self-esteem and community health. The overall purpose of TODEC is to ensure equitable access to information, immigration legal services, community education, advocacy, and civic engagement for limited and non-English speaking people including immigrants and migrant workers throughout Riverside, San Bernardino, Inyo, and Imperial counties.
The Pomona Economic Opportunity Center (PEOC) is a worker center with a grassroots organizing model. PEOC provides opportunities for day laborers, household workers and other low-wage, immigrant workers to find safe work at a fair wage, to organize and advocate for themselves in relation to policies that impact their lives, to obtain new trades and skills that improve their employability and quality of life, and to improve the overall conditions for all immigrant workers.
PEOC can support with labor rights education and employer mediation, job development, health and safety trainings, educational opportunities on workers rights and immigrant rights, vocational trainings, identifying training opportunities in work and language skills, development of strong workers and community leaders through organizing and trainings, immigration document preparation, and more.
