INTERNSHIPS

Our internship program offers students the chance to gain hands-on experience in their chosen area of interest while working alongside seasoned professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. Interns are generally undergraduate or postgraduate students who are able to commit to supporting a department or project at Starting Over Inc for a minimum of one semester or more. This is an ideal way for students who are interested in policy advocacy, social work, legal work, and justice issues to get hands-on experience.

Please note that internships are unpaid, but interns can receive academic credit or add to their experience section on their resume. We take on interns during the Spring, Summer, and Fall periods, with flexible timelines.

Contact our Internship Coordinator at ashleyw@startingoverinc.org if you are interested interning with us, or with any questions you may have. See inquiry and selection process below.
